Parental Involvement
Starry Garden is committed to provide each student with the tools needed to be successful in life. We understand that our families, school staff, and community work together to make this happen. This policy shows how we plan to accomplish this task.
Flexible Meetings
Each parent meeting will be held at a time that makes it more convenient for parents to attend.
Opportunities for Regular Meetings
Parent meetings will be held throughout the year, which gives parents a chance to be actively involved in their child’s education. Parent conferences are scheduled at a time available to parents. Parents are given a chance to give feedback.
Open Door Policy
We believe in letting every parent have an opportunity at any time to get real time information about their child's progress. Please give us the opportunity to schedule that and prep information needed to show you all your child is accomplishing. Casual questions are always welcome.
Student/Teacher Conferences
TBD- Ballot item on the agenda at Parent meeting. We welcome parents to schedule time to meet with teachers whenever they feel its necessity. For that reason, we do not have a scheduled STC at this time. We will open this point up for vote at the parent meeting before the first day of school.
Timely Information
Parents will receive information on a regular basis through Remind, Facebook, and emails. Please feel free to call, text or email at any time.
Annual Public Meeting for Traditions Education
Traditions Education will host an annual public meeting for all parents staff and board members. This meeting is to inform parents about their rights and to provide them with the information that will allow them to be fully active in this organization. This meeting will be held in conjunction with our School Orientation Meeting at the beginning of the school year. This meeting will also provide parents an opportunity to review the School-Parent-Student Involvement Commitment and to view the Traditions Education 501c3 budget for the upcoming year.
